From a gym to a world class training center in 10 years


Founder/Manager and Head Coach/Fighter Born on December 15, 1981 in Kirovakan, Armenia. Edmond started training at age 7 by Ken Arutyunyan in Glendale, CA. He started with Full Contact Karate, Wushu, and Kung Fu. Being very dedicated to the sport he loves he started teaching at his own studio in Glendale, California at age 16. His students have also gone on to win many international and national championships. He has trained and competed in various styles of martial arts including Karate, Tae-Kwon-Do, Wushu, Kung-Fu San-Shou, Draka, Shootboxing, Muay-Thai, and Boxing. He has competed all around the world and with all the knowledge and experience he has gathered he brings it all to GFC Fitness.

Kickboxing Coach/ Physical Trainer Silver got his degree from Chambery France University. Silver is a trainer, actor, and a personal physical trainer. He started training in 1982 at International Karate Club. Silver became a Pro Muay-Thai Fighter in the 143 weight class.

Fighter/MMA/Judo Coach Roman started training at age 8 with free style wrestling. He then went on to train Sambo-Judo with Bazshik Saroyan. He became a Champion in Armenia. In 1997 he came to America and started training at Hayastan Judo Club under the famous Gene Lebell and Gokor Chibichyan. In 2006 he won 1^st place the USJI National Championship. He is a world medalist in Sambo, and he is an active MMA fighter who has also fought in the UFC.
